We are seeking a unique individual with 5+ years experience in Medical and Pharmacy related sales, with a strong emphasis working with Mail Order companies. Other skills working with key national and regional wholesalers, retail and independent pharmacies, HME/DME’s, and related markets. Specific experience in diabetes, nutrition, or related who can apply that background and knowledge to open our products to increased success in the managed care arena. Prefer someone with established contacts with Mail Order companies, and living in Florida.
Sell ARKRAY’s product line within the Diabetes Category to clients in the consumer and healthcare market, service accounts and territory in Consumer HealthCare Division, building brand awareness and market share in this market segment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Create awareness and sell ARKRAY products to various markets: Mail Order, Wholesalers, Retail pharmacy and grocery chains, independent pharmacies, HME/DME’s, hospital, home health agencies, state and local health departments and other related markets.
- Work closely with ARKRAY’s Managed Care Sales Managers, Corporate Account Management Team, Professional Account Managers, Marketing and others within the organization; sharing information on the market.
- Help determine which managed care formularies we need to be on, by networking with mail-order companies, wholesalers, physicians, CDE’s, pharmacists, and other sources.
- Assist in determining market strategies and goals for ARKRAY’s product line.
- Call on physicians and physician groups, creating awareness about ARKRAY and our line of products.
- Make joint calls with Managed Care Sales Managers, Professional Account Managers, and sales representatives of distributor partners to help develop relationships with new and existing customers.
- Detail and in service ARKRAY products to all groups and markets as needed.
- Manage existing accounts that have implemented ARKRAY products and look to develop greater levels of revenue.
- Achieve fiscal year budgeted sales numbers that have been assigned to the territory.
- Manage territory effectively and budget to maximize sales per dollars and expenses.
- Represent ARKRAY at local and state trade shows and seminars that pertain to our business.
- Provide various reports to your manager such as call and expense reports, market share updates, spread sheets, etc.
- Effectively update and utilize computer to maximize organizational skills. Use to create call notes, generate memos, contracts, check and send e-mails, and create Power Point presentations.
Qualifications
Must have strong selling, communication, and negotiation skills, with proven customer service practices that have resulted in building long-term relationships and repeat business.
- Minimum of 5 years sales experience (Medical Sales Experience a must).
- Demonstrated success in sales and management of existing clients.
- Specific diabetes category experience preferred.

- Situated near a major airport with domestic travel expectations to be greater than 50%.
- Computer Knowledge of Act Software, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- College Degree Preferred.
