Professional Account Manager - San Francisco, CA
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in determining market strategies and goals for ARKRAY’s product line.
- Represent ARKRAY products to healthcare professionals, pharmacists, educators and others in order to establish and maintain accounts and territory in Consumer HealthCare Division.
- Assist in determining market strategies and goals for ARKRAY’s product line.
- Call on Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) of the Department of Defense and physicians associated with MTF, Certified Diabetes Educators (CDEs) and physician groups, and other healthcare professionals creating interest and pull through for our line of products.
- Network retail pharmacy and grocery chains, independent pharmacies, hospital, home health agencies, state and local health departments and other related markets.
- Provide value to the healthcare professional by providing clinical insight and demonstrating superior features and benefits of ARKRAY products.
- Help determine targeted managed care formularies by networking with physicians, CDE’s and other sources.
- Create awareness of ARKRAY products to various markets.
- Work closely with ARKRAY’s Managed Care Specialists, National Account Managers, Inside Sales, Marketing and others within the organization; sharing information on the market.
- Detail and in service ARKRAY products to all groups and markets as needed.
- Manage existing accounts that have implemented ARKRAY products and look to develop greater levels of revenue.
- Represent ARKRAY at local, state and national trade shows and seminars that pertain to our business.
- Proficient in ARKRAY’s programs and data management systems; selling, setting up and trouble shooting for all levels of customers.
- Effectively update and utilize electronic resources and personal computer to maximize organizational skills.
Knowledge and Skills
- Minimum of 3 years sales experience (Medical Sales Experience a must). Specific diabetes category experience highly preferred with demonstrated success in sales and management of existing clients.
- College Degree Preferred
- Demonstrated strong selling, communication and negotiation skills.
- Proven customer service practices that have resulted in building long-term relationships and repeat business.
- Highly motivated and self-directed with the ability to function well in a results-oriented environment.
- Highly collaborative and able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Situated near a major airport with domestic travel expectations to be greater than 50%.
- Computer Knowledge of Customer Relations Management (CRM), Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
