Lead the Web and Internet-based marketing communication strategy. This position requires significant experience in designing Web pages and other Internet-based marketing communication schemes including blogging. Provide assistance to other non-Web and Internet graphics and market communication needs as so required from time to time.
Duties and Responsibilities
- By working closely with Marketing and Product Managers, lead efforts to create Web and Internet-based marketing communication graphics and maintain the Corporate and brand-specific sites. Create Web strategy to optimize its effectiveness to attract more traffic and exposure.
- Monitor the effectiveness of Web strategy by utilizing key indicators such as Google Analytics and clicks, and recommend and execute modified and new strategy to maximize its effectiveness.
- Work with external partners including Web-hosting companies and graphics vendors, request and analyze bids, etc. to increase cost-effectiveness without compromising communication effectiveness.
- Contribute to and help execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies and tactics in conjunction with other departments.
- Assist in preparation and dissemination of press releases and articles
- Provide assistance to other non-Web and Internet graphics and market communication needs as so required from time to time.
- Work closely and proactively with Sales, Marketing, and all other departments to ensure that products and programs are properly positioned and supported.
Knowledge and Skills
- Bachelors degree in Communication, Graphics Arts, Marketing or highly related field of study.
- A minimum of 3 years of Web site design and maintenance experience. Demonstrable creativity in designing Web sites and graphics.
- Strong leadership and influencing skills, ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrated project management skills required.
- Web-based programming knowledge including, HTML, C++ and Java scripting, embedding, MS Publisher, Google Analytics, and other statistical tools to analyze Web effectiveness.
